Alana's Foundation
Alana's Foundation was founded in 2009 in memory of Alana Yaksich, who died at 5 yrs. of age on February 3, 2003 of influenza.

Our programs and activities support our mission "To prevent deaths caused by influenza, a vaccine preventable disease and provide support for families whose child has died from any illness."
Who We Are
We provide influenza education and awareness with a focus on offering convenient and affordable flu vaccination options. In addition, we serve as a resource for families that have experienced the death of a child due to any cause.
We are 100% volunteer run, relying solely on donations from private individuals and businesses.
What We Do
Alana's Foundation is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. We work on many exciting projects to help improve the lives of others, and are very proud of the progress we continue to make. See below to learn more about what we do, who we help, and how we work everyday to promote positive change.
FAMILY SUPPORT
Since there is no possible way to predict how any one family will handle the loss of a child, we serve as a resource for support that may include references for grief counseling, short term financial support or assistance in fulfilling basic day to day needs.
