"I am a student at Eastern Michigan University. I went to get my flu shot today and I realized my Ohio insurance wasn't going to work. The staff told me about Alana's Foundation and I was gratefully vaccinated. When I was waiting I read about Alana and I found myself to be heart broken and I want to tell you that I am sorry that this is the way I had to get my vaccination. She looks like a very happy and pretty girl. I want to say thank you very much for giving me the chance to get my flu shot."

"Thank you so much for coming out to vaccinate all of our student and staff today. Your organization is very prepared and things went very smoothly. I know you give a little piece of your heart every time you run a clinic, and some days must be tough. But the work you do truly helps so many."

"Thank you for coming to my childs school this week. My son recieved his flumist on Friday. Normally I have to take time off work and there is normally a shot waiting for him. This was so easy and painless for him and us. When he was 3 he had the flu and I held him in my arms as he spiked a very high fever and went into seizures. There was an ambulance ride and a night in the er and over 100 dollars in perscriptions but I was lucky to have a healthy child soon after it was all done and over. The doctors told me if he hasn't gotten his flu shot that year I probably wouldn't have him with me. I make sure we all get our flu shots and I want to thank you again for making it so easy for us."

"I just wanted to let you know that your important work IS being noticed. After reading about Alana shortly after she died I vowed to get flu shots for my 7 children every year. Whenever they complained about getting shots I would tell them Alana's story. Thank you for all you do."
